Hello! My name is Zia and I'm a freelance illustrator based in the northeast United States. I specialize in oils and explore themes inspired by my love of science-fiction and gothic fantasy. I was, and still am, enamored by the fictional worlds of the various books and movies I consume, and aim to blend them with my love for witchcraft and gothic horror. I also try to incorporate elements of the various cultures I have lived in throughout my life.

I spend my free time reading ARCs, hiking, and writing stories. I have a special interest in astrophysics and microbiology, and take coureses in these fields to expand my horizons academically.

I record timelapse and process videos of most of my larger paintings for my YouTube Channel, and post updates of personal work on my tiktok (where I also share occasional musings about my wild and crazy life in general).
